Meatball is the longest standing male server at my diner. To put it simply, he is amusing. Working with Meatball ensures that at least once during the shift, you’ll get to hear a funny joke or cool story.

Inspections are mandatory for a lot of businesses, especially when it comes to food. But food related inspections aside, there are other things to consider; water quality, heating, plumbing, sanitary conditions. The one thing I never expected, though, was a Purse Inspection.

There are always those ‘tween’ hours to deal with. The time between the midnight customers and the breakfast customers. Sometimes there is only one Tween hour, and sometimes, there are three or four.

I’m shocked at the amount of people living in my area that don’t know how to read. In this modern world, I always thought that being able to read was required to graduate past kindergarten.

You might think it’s great to know all the secrets of the menu. Without having to bother any one, I already know what salad dressings there are. I know which side dishes are left. I can remember which items we’ve currently run out of. There are endless combinations to the meals that I can eat, and I know about every single one of them.
